FENDI

The House of FENDI was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. Shortly after, the first FENDI boutique opened its doors, establishing a leather goods and fur workshop. Quickly gaining international acclaim, FENDI emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style. The collaboration with the late Karl Lagerfeld began back in 1965 and lasted 54 years, while Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in the Artistic Direction starting in 1992. In 1994, she heads the Leather Goods Accessories department, and later the Menswear line. In 2000, the LVMH Group acquires FENDI and becomes its majority shareholder in 2001. Today, the Maison is synonym with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity brought by the vision of Silvia Venturini Fendi, with fourth generation Fendi family heiress Delfina Delettrez Fendi as Artistic Director of the Jewelry department.
